Kannada Rajyotsava Celebration

Kannada Rajyotsava was celebrated with great enthusiasm at St. Mary’s Convent & Public School, No.1, T.Dasarahalli. The gala celebration started on 1st November 2022 and continued till the end of the month. It was a spectacular moment to watch the students dressed like many famous poets and authors. The cultural program was a bonanza of Kannada-packed songs back to back in dance form making the audience spellbound. The amazing facts about Karnataka added to the knowledge of the audience. The highlight of the celebration was the miracle skits showcased like “Ekalavya”, “Bhakta Kanakadasa” and “Basavanna Mattu Haralayya”.
Speaking on the occasion, our principal Mrs. Chandra gave a meaningful message on how to cultivate love for the Kannada language and culture. The program came to a fine closure on singing our Naada Geethe ‘Jaya Bharata Jananiya Tanujate’ song!
