ENVIRONMENT DAY

St. Marian’s celebrated the World Environment Day on 07.06.2022 with great zeal.  Students from Grade VIII to Grade X took the initiative to spread awareness about the threats to the environment and how each one of us can contribute towards protecting it. 

The day’s proceedings began with the melodious song dedicated to mother earth.  High school students of the ICSE wing showcased old age co-existence with nature and today’s destructions through a skit. While the SMC students performed a street play on how humans have failed to protect our Environment & the consequences of it.  Contributions of great personalities to mother earth were also highlighted.  

On the occasion of World Environment Day, Alumni of 2014 Batch Mr. Puneeth and his team had organised an event ‘Parisarotsava’ in school campus.  Students from Grade I to Grade X actively took part in various competitions related to Environment like Drawing, Pick & Speak and Quiz competitions. The prizes were awarded to the winners.

The Principal Mrs. Chandra appreciated the students for their concern for environment and encouraged the students to plant saplings and maintain cleanliness in and around the surroundings.
