St. Mary’s Convent & Public School Annual Sports Meet 2023: A Day of Triumph and Unity!

On September 16, 2023, our school campus buzzed with excitement as we celebrated our Annual Sports Meet. We were honoured to have distinguished guests – Mr. K. Srinath, Former First-Class Cricketer, Ms. Gagana K.S, a Young International Netball Player, and Mr. Bramaresh, Secretary of the Institution – whose presence ignited the spirits of our young athletes.

The captivating display of the pilot march and the guard of honour showcased the discipline and precision that are the hallmarks of our students. The Beating of the Retreat and the arrival of the Olympic torch added a touch of tradition and internationalism to the event. Students took the oath, pledging to uphold the values of sportsmanship and fair play.

Mrs. Chandra, our esteemed Principal, welcomed everyone, and the Chief Guest officially opened the meet. The day was filled with diverse sports events, from the Little Champ Cycle Race to Balancing Hula Hoops and Yoga Displays that left our audience in awe.

Chief Guest emphasized the importance of discipline and sports in daily life, echoing our school’s values. The joyous occasion concluded with recreational sports events for parents and teachers, fostering unity and fun.
