ORIENTATION PROGRAM FOR 10th ICSE STUDENTS & PARENTS

St. Mary’s Group of Institutions organized an orientation program for Grade 10 ICSE students and their parents on ‘Career Guidance’ and ‘Exam Tips & Tricks’ on 15.12.2022. The program began with a welcome and introduction by the principal Mrs. Chandra, who outlined the goals of the program and the importance of choosing a career path that aligns with a student’s interests and strengths.

The program was conducted by a familiar resource person Mrs. Dr. Pratima Jagadeesh, an Academic Entrepreneur, Life & Mindfulness Coach, and HR Evangelist. The program included presentations on different career options and the skills and qualifications needed to succeed in each field. She has also explained exam preparation strategies and covered topics such as time management, study skills, and test-taking strategies. It helped students to get rid of all confusion and recognize their real potential and interest in choosing the right career.

Students and parents had the opportunity to ask questions and seek advice from the resource person. We believe that providing our students and their parents with the tools and information they need to make informed decisions about their academic and career paths is an important part of our mission. We are grateful to have the opportunity to host this program and we hope that it will be beneficial to our students as they consider their options and plan for the future.
