Inaugural Function of Literary Clubs

The installation ceremony of ‘The Quill’ English Literary and ‘Kannada Karanji’ clubs were held on 28.06.2019.  The events were held in two different sessions. The first session,  ‘The Quill’ literary club was inaugurated.  The event commenced with lighting of lamp followed by invocation song. The allotted students from each club were invited to welcome the gatherings followed by felicitation of the leaders. The president of each club read the Agenda for the Academic year 2019-2020.

The Quill English Literary club organised a flamboyant events like Drama on ‘A Villa for Sale’ which pleasured the audience in great delight. Tejas of ‘X’ A declamated a character of Martin Luther Jr.king, the performance remained tremendously praiseworthy. Later, a special episode of “Riddles” completely escalated the students’ mental acuity. An informative PPT of Renowned poet Robert Frost  too added a feather to the event.

The Chief Guest of the day Mr. V.K. TALITHAYA who is a writer, industry trainer, Manager marked a crucial part in the programme.    As a writer he taught the students how a act is written and shared his experience of writing a scene. He encouraged students to develop creative writing and emerge as modern writers.

The afternoon session programme commenced with the inauguration of ‘Kannada Karanji club’. The club office bearers were vested with sashes.  Sri Umamaheshwar K a well known yoga guru  and the director of VASK yoga centre was the Chief Guest .  Suhas G N  of class X gave a presentation on Jnanpeeth Award winners of  Karnatka in kannada literature which was informative. The guest highlighted the greatness, strength, power and history of kannada language.  The programme concluded with Nadageethe.
